Zoomzi Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Purpose

This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which orders placed through Zoomzi, operated by NerdyIT (Pty) Ltd, may be cancelled or refunded.

Zoomzi provides a digital platform that connects customers, vendors, and delivery partners — and acts only as a facilitator, not a direct seller or manufacturer.


2. General Policy

  1. All orders placed on Zoomzi are considered confirmed once payment is successful.
  2. Cancellations or refunds are subject to vendor approval and Zoomzi’s review.
  3. Zoomzi reserves the right to deny or partially refund any order at its sole discretion.
  4. Platform and service fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.


3. Customer Cancellations


3.1 Before Vendor Acceptance

  1. If a customer cancels before the vendor accepts or processes the order, a full refund (minus payment gateway fees) may be issued.

3.2 After Vendor Acceptance

  1. Once an order has been accepted, prepared, or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
  2. Refunds will not be issued for:
  3. Change of mind after confirmation.
  4. Incorrect address or unavailability at delivery time.
  5. Delay caused by factors beyond Zoomzi’s control (traffic, weather, etc.).


4. Vendor-Initiated Cancellations

  1. Vendors may cancel orders only when:
  2. The product is out of stock, or
  3. Delivery is not possible due to logistical issues.
  4. In such cases, customers may receive a full refund.
  5. Repeated or unjustified vendor cancellations may lead to account suspension or commission penalties.


5. Delivery Partner Cancellations

  1. If a delivery partner cannot complete a delivery due to:
  2. Wrong address,
  3. Customer unavailability, or
  4. Safety concerns,
  5. the order will be marked as failed delivery.
  6. In this case, no refund will be issued, and the customer may be charged a redelivery fee.


6. Refunds

  1. Refunds (where applicable) are processed within 7–14 business days through the same payment method used for the order.
  2. Payment gateway or bank processing fees are non-refundable.
  3. Zoomzi reserves the right to issue partial refunds when only part of an order is affected.
  4. Cash-on-Delivery (COD) orders are not eligible for refunds once payment is collected.


7. Disputes

  1. Customers must raise disputes within 24 hours of order completion via support@zoomzi.co.za.
  2. Zoomzi will review and mediate between the customer and vendor.
  3. Zoomzi’s decision on refunds or cancellations is final and binding.


8. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted for:

  1. Incorrect orders placed by the customer.
  2. Dissatisfaction with product taste, appearance, or packaging.
  3. Failure to collect an order or be available for delivery.
  4. Unauthorized use of the customer’s account.
  5. Digital services, delivery charges, or promotional discounts.


9. Platform Rights

  1. Zoomzi reserves the unrestricted right to cancel or refund any order due to system errors, fraud, or misuse.
  2. Zoomzi may withhold or offset refunds against pending vendor payouts or outstanding platform fees.
  3. Zoomzi may modify or suspend this policy without prior notice.
