Zoomzi Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Purpose
This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which orders placed through Zoomzi, operated by NerdyIT (Pty) Ltd, may be cancelled or refunded.
Zoomzi provides a digital platform that connects customers, vendors, and delivery partners — and acts only as a facilitator, not a direct seller or manufacturer.
2. General Policy
- All orders placed on Zoomzi are considered confirmed once payment is successful.
- Cancellations or refunds are subject to vendor approval and Zoomzi’s review.
- Zoomzi reserves the right to deny or partially refund any order at its sole discretion.
- Platform and service fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.
3. Customer Cancellations
3.1 Before Vendor Acceptance
- If a customer cancels before the vendor accepts or processes the order, a full refund (minus payment gateway fees) may be issued.
3.2 After Vendor Acceptance
- Once an order has been accepted, prepared, or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
- Refunds will not be issued for:
- Change of mind after confirmation.
- Incorrect address or unavailability at delivery time.
- Delay caused by factors beyond Zoomzi’s control (traffic, weather, etc.).
4. Vendor-Initiated Cancellations
- Vendors may cancel orders only when:
- The product is out of stock, or
- Delivery is not possible due to logistical issues.
- In such cases, customers may receive a full refund.
- Repeated or unjustified vendor cancellations may lead to account suspension or commission penalties.
5. Delivery Partner Cancellations
- If a delivery partner cannot complete a delivery due to:
- Wrong address,
- Customer unavailability, or
- Safety concerns,
- the order will be marked as failed delivery.
- In this case, no refund will be issued, and the customer may be charged a redelivery fee.
6. Refunds
- Refunds (where applicable) are processed within 7–14 business days through the same payment method used for the order.
- Payment gateway or bank processing fees are non-refundable.
- Zoomzi reserves the right to issue partial refunds when only part of an order is affected.
- Cash-on-Delivery (COD) orders are not eligible for refunds once payment is collected.
7. Disputes
- Customers must raise disputes within 24 hours of order completion via support@zoomzi.co.za.
- Zoomzi will review and mediate between the customer and vendor.
- Zoomzi’s decision on refunds or cancellations is final and binding.
8. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted for:
- Incorrect orders placed by the customer.
- Dissatisfaction with product taste, appearance, or packaging.
- Failure to collect an order or be available for delivery.
- Unauthorized use of the customer’s account.
- Digital services, delivery charges, or promotional discounts.
9. Platform Rights
- Zoomzi reserves the unrestricted right to cancel or refund any order due to system errors, fraud, or misuse.
- Zoomzi may withhold or offset refunds against pending vendor payouts or outstanding platform fees.
- Zoomzi may modify or suspend this policy without prior notice.
