Zoomzi Return Policy

1. Overview
This Return Policy explains when and how customers may return products purchased through Zoomzi, a platform operated by NerdyIT (Pty) Ltd.
Zoomzi connects customers with independent vendors and delivery partners. We do not manufacture, own, or directly sell any listed products.
As such, returns are handled in partnership with the respective vendor, and Zoomzi acts as a facilitator only.
2. General Return Conditions
To qualify for a return:
- The return request must be submitted within 24 hours of receiving the order.
- The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging.
- A valid reason and supporting evidence (photo or video) must be provided.
- Returns are accepted only with vendor approval and Zoomzi’s confirmation.
Zoomzi reserves the right to reject any return request that does not meet these conditions.
3. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene, safety, and practical reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Food, beverages, groceries, or perishable goods.
- Health and personal care products.
- Custom-made, branded, or personalized items.
- Digital goods, services, or vouchers.
- Items damaged by misuse, neglect, or improper storage.
- Any item marked “non-returnable” on the product page.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Products
If a product is damaged or incorrect, customers must:
- Report the issue to support@zoomzi.co.za within 24 hours of delivery.
- Include photos/videos showing the issue and proof of purchase.
- Keep the packaging intact until the claim is verified.
Once the vendor confirms the issue, Zoomzi may:
- Arrange a replacement (if available), or
- Approve a partial or full refund, at its sole discretion.
5. Return Process
- Submit a return request via the app or by emailing support@zoomzi.co.za.
- Zoomzi reviews the claim and forwards it to the vendor.
- The vendor inspects the item (if returned physically).
- Upon approval, the customer will receive a replacement or refund (as decided by Zoomzi and the vendor).
Return shipping or pickup costs are borne by the customer, unless the vendor or Zoomzi specifies otherwise.
6. Refunds for Approved Returns
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after return verification.
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.
- Delivery, platform, and payment processing fees are non-refundable.
- Zoomzi reserves the right to issue partial refunds where appropriate.
7. Vendor and Platform Rights
- Vendors may reject returns if items show signs of use, damage, or tampering.
- Zoomzi may, at its discretion, override or support vendor decisions.
- Repeated return abuse or fraudulent claims may lead to account suspension or ban.
- Zoomzi is not responsible for lost or damaged items during the return shipping process.
8. Platform’s Final Authority
Zoomzi’s decision regarding any return or refund case shall be final and binding on all parties.
We reserve the right to:
- Deny a return or refund,
- Charge restocking or handling fees, and
- Modify this policy without prior notice.
